I landed in Port Townsend in the spring of 1991 fresh from a successful thru Hike on the Appalachian Trail. Having spent my youth in Southern California I postponed my education to work as a carpenter in Antartica before pursuing a degree in Architecture at the University of Arizona which laid the groundwork and formation of my career path. Over the years my love of the natural environment along with a builders passion for process and craft is the foundation of my practice.
